About

I created printyourownspeedcube in 2025 after trialing the service on my main store, speedcubing.org. As I have been a speedcuber for many years, I have received custom printed cubes as gifts a few times, companies think it will be fun to print their logo on a cube and then give them out for promotional purposes. The problem is with most of these cubes is that they turn very bad. While speedcubers are using cubes that turn so much faster, they lock up less and they just feel smoother to turn, Hardly anyone seems to have thought much about improving the performance of printed cubes for brands.

When I found a supplier that did UV printing on speedcubes, I was curious about the quality and I had the idea in the back of my mind 'well, why don't I offer this out to the community', so I asked for quotations for small order quantities, as I had previously assumed they would only print in large quantities, and I received decent prices, so I started offering the service out on my main site, initially with just 'email me the design after placing the order please'.

After receiving some large orders from brands and events organizers, I decided it was time to create a separate site for this which offers the service internationally so that cubers around the world can get whatever they want printed on their cubes. So far I have received requests ranging from weird colour schemes to wedding photos, brand promotions, fundraising cubes or just simply pictures of someone's cat.

In the run up to the 2025 World Championships I received an order from the father of the UK's youngest competitor, Jacob Melotti, for 50 cubes that he was planning to use to fundraise for the flights to the competition, this was then featured in the Daily Echo,, Jacob went on to compete in 6 events at the World Championships.

This site allows customers to upload their design when purchasing with clear instructions confirming where each image will go on the cube.

So there is no confusion, I will clarify that I do not print speedcubes, I source printed speedcubes from my suppliers in China, this means that cubes take longer to print and ship, especially for UK customers, I can ship to any country in the world and expect shipping time to take 2-3 weeks.
